Description

Rare 2 x 1 sided test pressings of Barclay James Harvest Early Morning Onwards album from 1972 with letter to John Walters, John Peels's producer.  
The matrix numbers are SRS 5126  A1/ B1.  One of the plain sleeves is date stamped 9 August 1972.
The accompanying letter is addressed to John Walters from KPM, the company which owned Ardmore and Beechwood, BJH's music publishers.  It requests that he consider including the album on 'the programme', presumably meaning the John Peel radio show.  There is also a strip of the album artwork with the running order of the tracks on the album.
Although the paper sleeves are yellowing the discs inside are in near perfect condition with just one spindle mark on each suggesting they were only played once. The letter is clean and uncreased.
