Description
These are the last two I have at this time. Lot of two "paired" Beatles "Yesterday And Today" 1966 Capitol ST-2553 Butcher LP's...still originally sealed. These are awesome as a pair and would be ideal for display! One is a first-state, the other a 2nd state...and the 2nd-state is pasted over a 1st state (look carefully at the photo - you can see Ringo's black collar, etc.)! The asterisk [" * "] in the title indicates these are faux pressings - super-cool. Both are amazingly accurate to the finest details. This is the newest, and most concerted effort I've seen (since the Japanese came out with their masterpieces many years ago). They definitely have the cover "pasted" on like the originals, and have the #5 pressing plant number in the bottom right corner of the back cover. The colors on the front are true to the originals..and the smallest micro-print on the back is super clear. The records contained in these covers (I'm told) are not Beatles' records - and I decided not to open them. Instead, though, I've included in this auction an authentic "goldenrod orange" Los Angeles inner sleeve (Excellent), and absolute guaranteed-real first-pressing Los Angeles record (black label rainbow perimeter without subsidiary language) in solid VG condition. Additionally, I've included a copy of the June 14, 1966 letter of recall. To me, this is an incredible set - and would be awesome to display. Condition guaranteed. Buyer to pay $7.00 for double-boxed priority shipping. International buyer to request shipping charges. Please email me with any questions.
