2 track RCA VICTOR BPS-122 Reg Owen and his orchestra COFFEE BREAK7 1/2  1958 reel
Part of a rare RCA Victor 2 track "stereo-orthophonic"/"monaural" series (1957-58). These excellent sounding tapes are considered to be of a higher sound quality than their LP record counterparts. Per the 1958 catalog there are 105 stereophonic and 59 monaural known releases. All of these are sought after by reel to reel collectors. Here you'll find music that was supposedly intended for you to listen to while having a coffee - these tracks to go with your latte, cappuccino or espresso. Virtually every song on this set is a well-known standard and listening to this compilation will remind you that when someone pens a great tune and then someone gives it an even greater orchestration, well you can sit back and enjoy it.
