Description

Sought after 2001 3 LP set by TROUBLEMAKERS "Doubts & Convictions".  As I listen to this I can almost smell Marseille, some slightly unsafe side street, still warm at midnight. Probably the most exciting city in France for me, captured perfectly here. Hints of plundered movie ambience & dialogue, in a melange heavy on Future/Acid Jazz & Trip Hop from the French trio, who moved to Blue Note for their next album, you have to think the A&R there heard this masterpiece when making that decision. I thought every track was dope. I saw someone had this as a Vg for $100 on here, so I can let this go for £60, as I have a ridiculous amount of records and not enough life left to hear them all more than once.
