Description

I purchased a lot of FOUR 12" Album frames at an estate auction. Imagine my luck! I think the previous owner took a NEW copy of this album and mounted in one of these frames. For this reason it is in near perfect condition.
This album is available in many different configurations 2 panel, 4 panel, 8 panel, and I think ONE LP (2 sides), Two LP's -Purple Vinyl (4 sides) and Eight LP's - Multi colored vinyl 16 sides. Wiki suggests that this album contains 105 unique samples from other artists, so early on in Sample licensing that BB managed it for less than $250k. Amongst my favorite samples is Beatles guitar lick from "Drive my Car"
I got comments from a viewer that suggested this is the 2009 20th Anniversary Reissue. Pricing based on this...and condition.

Here are the facts as I see them...
1. This LP has the 8 panel cover, with a single inner sleeve and a single (Black Vinyl) LP 2. This LP has NO BAR CODES and no Hype Stickers. (These were applied to outside of shrink wrap and would have been removed with removal of shrink wrap) 3. This LP has the Number 509996-93300-18 on the Spine and a similar number scratched into the Vinyl.
4. This LP Weights 7.2 ounces (204 Grams) - I think this points to a 2009 re-issue.
5. The number on the spine matches up to the 20th Anniversary Reissue, but the reissues I see online appear to have TWO Albums (4 sides) and are four panel. 6. I think the original pressing should be 8 Panel, Single LP, with the number C1-92844 printed on the spine.

Of course I want this to be an original pressing, as it would be worth considerably more. +/- $199. As it stands, I am going to have to sell it presuming it is a 2009 Reissue in really good condition. More like +/- $50.
NOTE: Beastie Boys Catalog number (printed on the LP's label) C1-93300 suggests double gatefold (vs. 8 panel I have advertised) which further suggests the LP and the album cover are mix - Matched.
