Released to the entire planet on July 14, 2011 at 4PM EST, This auction is for my copy of Metallica’s ST. ANGER studio album printed on ORANGE Vinyl.  I know what they say about  opinions, but St. Anger really came alive, for me, after seeing Metallica twice on that tour.  They took the studio versions of the songs and turned them into a more classic Metallica sound on the road.   

 So Metallica rumors to break up, go into the studio for about 3 years with NO BASS PLAYER.  Everyone think Bob Rock might actually be their permanent bass player (yeah, right!—Like he needs that aggravation).  All of a sudden, Rob Trujillo is announced as the official new bass player of Metallica and St. Anger drops.  MTV ICON chooses Metallica to feature in their show of iconic, legendary artists and the world sees Rob on stage with them pretty much for the first time.

Ok—Back to THE ORANGE ALBUM.  I am sure I do not have to get into the details.  If you are viewing this you probably know what it is all about.  For those of you that stumbled on this as fellow Metallica fans and did not hear of the release of this Limited Edition ST. ANGER album, here is the dirt.

Originally, released in 2003, St. Anger is Metallica's eighth studio album and first since 1997's ReLoad. They may have a new outlook and a new bass player here, but one thing about Metallica will forever remain unchanged, they are still one of the biggest, greatest rock bands in the world.

The Bob Rock produced affair is heavy, it is intense, and it reaffirmed Metallica's place at the top of Metal where they belong. As drummer Lars Ulrich put it, "If you're looking for ballads on this record, you'll be looking for a long, long time."

Frantic LIVE in Korea.  I saw them twice on that tour and both were memorable Metallica shows.  I enjoyed St. Anger and Frantic live.
