In 2014 Queen released a 40th anniversary celebration of two 1974 gigs at London’s Rainbow Theatre, this is the  4 LP vinyl box set with two records featuring the March show and two featuring the November show,
Recorded by Roy Thomas Baker, the band’s 31 March 1974 show at the Rainbow was so good, it was touted as a live follow-up to Queen II for a while, before this idea was eventually shelved and Sheer Heart Attack became the third album.  When that record was a massive success (along with single Killer Queen) Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor returned to the venue in November 1974 for two further dates.
The March show had never been officially released, while the November gig was released in part in 1992 on VHS. In total 15 songs from both shows had not been issued on any Queen live album.
My partner has always been a soul boy from the days of Motown and has only ever bothered to my knowledge been to a handful of Concerts that are not R&B /Soul orientated  ,Roxy Music ,David Bowie ,The Faces and Queen his first ever concert was the Faces at the New Theatre Oxford 1973 the second was Queen 1974 and the odd thing is at the Rainbow Finsbury park he lived in west London at the time we now live in Muswell Hill 15 minutes drive from Finsbury park and these two put together is why he bought the set  .
None of the LP's have ever been played and when you inspect them this will be apparent there is not a mark on any I have only handled them to check out everything before listing the set as we collect items ourselves and understand the importance of condition please check our feedback and you will see that we are straight forward and open about condition in fact we try to put ourselves in a buyer shoes and look really hard at the items and these are our own items we are not a shop we just accumulated a lot of "stuff" over many decades and some such as this deserve better than being stored away and it the case of the Vinyl we are putting on no chance of being played the Deck has gone so nothing to play it on and he is now compiling playlist's on Spotify 
You get 2 sleeves per LP on the inner extensive liner notes and pictures the outer has photograph's all are in near mint condition only slightest signs of handling but no damage,creases ,rips ,tears or stains if there is any little thing we have shown it in the photo's so please check them 
The Box is also in near mint condition with no damage or stains there is a small what looks like "impression " in the right hand facing  top front corner please see last photo is is very faint but as we said we are open and straight forward  
Also when he bought it there was a Leaflet attached to the outside of the box we have no idea if this was standard or part of the display it has some info about the set but also a little tear but we have put it in rater than not as it was with the set when we bought it and is the only item with any issue please see photo's

As a Foot note he thought of the concert to help me list this and all he said was the Rainbow held around 3000 people but it felt like it was so much bigger the sound created was spectacular but you do not realise just quite how good they were until you see some of today's "Stars" live and realise they can sell records but have no idea how to Sell themselves  Stars my Ar**se his words not mine
