Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records(Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the attractive purple and gold ODEON label. I don't see a Set number on the book/cover/sleeve, but probably mid to later 1920s. The front cover of the book is quite impressive and says Odeon Library, Orchestra Works Of The Great Masters. This one is Rimsky-Korsakow: Scheherazade and is performed by Orchestra of the State Opera House in Berlin directed by Eduard Morike. The records proceed from First Movement through Fourth Movement: Finale, concluded on the 10 sides. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs or scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Note: first two records are somewhat warped (wavy rotation), but not drastic (thus, no affect on play). Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well and has three pages of description inside. Cover in purple with classy raised gold lettering!
