Lero LS-767, 1969 (* original issue, 1st pressing Stereo, Canada)
(hand-scribed run-off matrix #: mg-7879)
Short-lived cult Quebec Garage / Ye-Ye / Psych band who recorded only a handfull of singles and just 2 rare (and now highly coveted) LP's. This, their self-titled debut, was released in 1969 just a few months before their second (and last) long play, "Ecology". The band called it quits shortly after.
Unique covers of two Beatles classics (sung in French)....... "Hey Jude" and their great trippy version of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".......Nice !
With Réjean Ruel (vocals, organ), Karol Dicaire (lead guitar), Michel Desjardins (drums), Robert Métayer (bass) and arrangements/orchestra by Pierre Nolès
Labels (original Lero black-silver labels, minimal wear, no markings or tears, light spindle marks)...EX
Vinyl (noticeable hairlines/scuffs but all are superficial....nothing that can be felt with the fingers)...VG+
Cover (no splits tears markings or cut-outs, great spine & seams with minimal shelf wear, 2 tiny stains back top)...EX
