Description
Interesting and cool estate find. Twenty-five (25) 1940s era 10" 78rpm records in original sleeves and even the original shipment packaging.
A representative sample (50 total songs on 25 records!)

These were stored in the original shipping box (stamped 1945 on the outside) and all have the original sleeves that they were shipped in. I am not a record expert, but these appear to be in very good to excellent condition for their age. The are no significant scratches or chips on any of the records. It would be interesting to know how much they were ever even played! They almost appear to have been intended for a radio station of some commercial use like that.
Please see all of the photo and ask any questions before bidding. A very low starting bid and no reserve insures a sale to the high bidder. I believe in true auctions, so do not accept offers once an item is listed.
The records will be shipped in the original shipping box pictured placed in another outer box for additional protection. PLEASE SEE THE OTHER BOXES OF RECORDS I CURRENTLY HAVE LISTED. Because of the weight (each box nearly 16 lbs, I will not be able to combine shipping).

I did actually find a box of records in the estate collection that had a shipping label from Harper Megee Inc., Wholesale Distributors in Seattle to Standard Radio Company at 1021 E. 65th, Seattle, WA so these were in fact used for a radio station. This box does NOT have the label, but I thought it was interesting history. I would be happy to provide a copy of the label to the winning bidder if desired.
