About the Albums:
Two Half-hour Grand Ole Opry programs, hosted by Ott Devine. Classic performances taped live from the Opry House Stage, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tennessee, Music City USA, home of the world famous Grand Ole Opry. These LPs are a primary source of Country Music History - from a transitional period in the mid-1960s where the stage was shared by well-established artists and emerging/progressive artists - many future inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame. These classic performances were broadcast across America, and influenced countless artists.
These LPs were produced by Nashville's legendary WSM radio specifically for syndicated radio broadcast (not intended for pubic distribution). They come with their original green paper sleeve - no cover - and may contain handwritten dates/notes from the station on the sleeve and/or label. Condition varies - most show some light wear. All have been tested, and are extremely playable. Any copies with conditional issues that affect playback (warping, deep scratches, etc) will not be listed for sale. I am posting a collection of different performances/titles from this time period (1966 according to hand written dates) , so please be sure to check out my other auctions. Thanks for your interest!
