Description

First collected issue from 1977 Jackie McLean Contour. 1st Press US Prestige twofer of the two great albums Lights Out & 4 5 6, with Hank Mobley, Mal Waldron and Donald Byrd. Low Plays Near Mint records in an excellent gatefold sleeve play near mint. For all of how glrious it is to won the originals of these and the massive prices they change hands for, nothing escapes the fact that 50s Prestige vinyl was lousy. So this is the two lps mastered from just 19 year old tapes, and they sound great. Just to confirm, in a broad and deep 45 year record collection, I have kept no original Prestiges, and have always sought out these US twofers or Esquires of them instead. The cheaper one listed of this is a French VG, why not pay £2 more and have the near mint 1st US one? My goal is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type.  We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e no extra charge however many lps you buy. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water.  This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
