M (mint) = Neu (new)
M- (near mint) = Platte gespielt, aber wie neu; Cover nahe Neuzustand (The record/cover is like new)
VG + (very good +) = Platte weist nur leichte Fremdgeräusche auf; Cover hat leichtere Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows very light noise; the cover shows very light wears)
VG (very good) = weist Fremdgeräusche auf; Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows light noise; the cover shows light wears)
VG - (very good -) = häufigere Fremdgeräusche; Cover hat deutlichere Gebrauchsspuren (The record was played and shows a little more noise; the cover shows a little more wears)
G (good) = wiederholt abgespielt, hörbar sind Fremdgeräusche wie Kratzer und/oder Grundrauschen; Cover ist beschädigt. (The record was played more often. Scratches and surface noise are audible)
Eine mit G eingestufte Platte ist gut abspielbar und durchaus kaufenswert. (Yet a record rated G is still enjoyable and good to be purchased)
W (worn) = überdurchschnittlich abgespielt, Kratzer und Grundrauschen sind deutlich hörbar, aber keine Springer oder Hänger; Cover ist stark beschädigt. (Will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.)
F Fair [= P (poor)] = Platte ist voller Kratzer, ziemlich verbogen, und wird nicht durchlaufen, ohne hängen zu bleiben. Das Album Cover hat Wasserschaden, alle Kanten sind durchstossen und ist voll von Gekritzel und Aufklebern. (The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing.)
Ich versuche die Platten vor Einstellung, wenn ich es für nötig halte und die Zeit finde, noch einmal anzuhören, um sie zu bewerten. Die Bewertung erfolgt in erster Linie akustisch! Sollte der Zustand Ihres Erachtens einmal deutlich [!] von der von mir angegebenen Zustandsbeschreibung abweichen, bitte ich, mir zu mailen.
