This listing is for 2 x John Prine early and original 70s vinyl LPs - self-titled and Sweet Revenge. I’ve owned these for a number of years but haven’t listened to them in a long time. I’m a collector myself but my record player is currently in storage so am unable to play test at the moment but after many years collecting I think I am able to give a considered and reasonably accurate VISUAL guideline to condition.
John Prine - “John Prine” - some regular age wear to sleeve and inner (some foxing on the latter) - Pictures will give you a decent idea. The vinyl itself looks in lovely, seldom played condition - lovely lustrous finish. From memory I think it played really really nicely - however as I say that was a long time again so am only basing on visuals.
John Prine - “sweet revenge”...sleeve shows some greater wear to edges etc and there is a small rip to where the price label once was - with some writing on it. Insert shows some creasing and small cosmetic rips (not too bad). The vinyl itself looks in nice condition - some light marks when held up to a bright light indicative of where taken in and out of inner sleeve. Little spindle wear. PLEASE NOTE: the only real imperfection is a mark on (predominantly) track 3 of side 1 - this is lightly feelable in the second half of track 3. This may produce some slight clicking though I’m reasonably sure that it played well - however not recently play tested. [note: On many imperfect records down the years I have improved/removed glitches with gentle rubbing of a matchstick working with the grooves - though it works brilliantly for me, it might or might not be an option for you]. I’m not saying there will be any impact on this LP but am trying to be as honest and critical as possible ...

ESPECIALLY if buying from abroad please be conscious of the fact that these records are visually graded only and that Sweet Revenge has one small feelable mark (as above) etc For that reason only, no returns! :)
