Description

Here are two fantastic examples of Nathan Milstein early stereo recordings.

Firstly MASTERPIECES. This album was produced by Capitol records - SP8528. The dead wax codes end D1/N1. The record shows excellent sheen with perfect labels. There is one extremely faint scuffs that I was able to find with scrutiny (a paper scuff), not able to be felt nor seen very easily. The record looks as though it has never been played. I would grade the record as being in EX++ or NM minus.. you just aren't going to find many nicer than this one. It is fantastic. The jacket is also very special, not splits, no surface wear to speak of.. it has a little bit of price tag residue in the upper left hand corner and a price tag on the back of the jacket. The record includes original inner sleeve which has a small number written on it in pencil. I would grade it  EX+/NM-.

The second record included in this auction is Milstein DVORAK Concerto and GLAZOUNOV Concerto. This is also a stereo pressing Capitol SP-8382. This record shows super sheen, clean labels.. I cannot see any marks in the vinyl even under strong scrutiny. I would grade the record as being in NM. The jacket is superb.. it has a price tag in the upper right corner.. very tight seams and nothing but minute wear from handling.. I would grade it EX+ or better. The innersleeve is very crisp and clean.

Once again this auction contains two records.. each is extremely very well perserved, all but perfect copies. Each of these came from the same collection.  I think the next owner will be quite happy and proud to own beautiful examples.   Good luck.
