With Hal Mooney and his orchestra. Harold Mooney, who arranged all the songs on these two February, 1957, sessions, scored for Helen with her need for spontaneity in mind. Except for the pianist, the rhythm section was the same on both dates - drummer Sol Gubin; bassist Milt Hinton; and guitarist Billy Mure. Alternating pianists were Buddy Weed and Maran McPartland. (Marian can be heard on If You Go, If Love Were All, Easy Come Easy Go, The Things We Did Last Summer.

Both LPs are stunning, exceptional copies which look rarely (if ever) played. Visually NM- with no noted flaws. Some light noise was evident upon a brief playback, but it is likely either inherent in the pressing or simply dust.
Covers are both stunning EX+ to NM- as well! As close to new as you could hope for for original pressings of this vintage!!!
