We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Rare and sought after 1971 advance release PROMOTIONAL 2xLp vinyl pressing in thick freaked-out design gatefold cover... One of the giants from the pioneering prog psych 'Krautrock' field ...
What an achievement! Who would have thought Amon Düül II could have outdone Yeti, but the follow-up Dance Of The Lemmings is even more wonderous! The classic line-up of Chris Karrer, Renate Krause, Peter Leopold, Falk U. Rogner and John Weinzierl certainly deserve far more credit than they ever got for their individual musicianship, and some believe that this is the ultimate Krautrock album.
This album's first song may be called March Of The Roaring Seventies, but it's very much rooted in the 60s. Dominated by some great guitar playing and an overwhelming hippie vibe, the song becomes a progressive folk jam after the 6 minute-mark (but not before some heavily accented German vocals make their mark). It should appeal to any one who likes Pink Floyd and early Hawkwind and has a strangely dark, incredible improvised feel to it, yet is too good to be improvised. Around about the 9:30 mark, the vocals come back but it's still a trippy spacerock melody. Restless Skylight-Transistor-Child is another heavy blues jam affair with an odd mix of electronic sound effects. There's a repeated ascending riff which leads to a sparse stoner jam with sitar leading the way, eventually vocals over a heavenly choir. Around the 7 minute mark it threatens to become a heavy psych rocker, but fades away into great violin playing that coloured Yeti making its presence felt on this record. The song slows down into another spaced-out section, with delightful guitar work returning.
The Marilyn Monroe Memorial Church follows on from the second half on the Yeti album in that it is pure atmospheric exprimentation. It is also one of the most brilliant examples of improvised music. The sort of unearthly vibes this group could create when the need arose is quite astounding. With washes of sound, tinkling piano, crashing drums, ominous bass and a seemingly ever present organ -- a stellar soundscape is created. This would be a real treat to those who enjoyed the live half of Pink Floyd's Ummagumma.
After the three epics above, this album concludes with awesome Amon Duul psych-nuggets ... the acid-blues-rock of Chewinggum Telegram, the trippy Stumbling Over Melted Moonlight (which still fits in a few distinct sections) and Toxicological Whispering which closes the album out with more duelling lead guitars. "Dance Of The Lemmings" is essential psychedelic progressive music...

CONDITION: The cover is a great acidy designed thick gatefold cover...solid and strong on all areas. "EX" (excellent) to M- ... with promo sticker on top right corner raises the value as a pre-release limited promotional, certainly a keeper collectible from nearly 40 years ago.
