Description
This is a RARE Lot of 3 Vintage 1940’s Large 16” Orthacoustic Vinyl Radio Broadcast Transcription Records. Made by RCA / NBC National Broadcasting Company / NBC Radio Recording Division of Hollywood Calif., this 16” records feature program episodes of a show titled “Aladdin Lamp with Smilin’ Ed McConnell”, and appears to be sponsored by the Mantle Lamp Co. of America (Chicago). The records include; Orthacoustic #HD7 MM 11312-1 w/ Programs 19-24; Orthacoustic #HD7 MM 11332-1 w/ Programs 31-36; & Orthacoustic #HD7 MM 11333-1 w/ Programs 37-39). The latter disc appears to be the last of the series, as it is One Sided, with a great reverse side that has embossed images of Spider Webs, as well as the RCA Victor Name, Logo & “His Masters Voice” logo with the Doggie & Gramaphone. The records are in great condition with only light surface wear, and a light scratch or scuff here & there. They all include their original plain brown sleeves, although the sleeves do have some degree of wear. Please see my other Rare 16” Transcription Records, also currently on Ebay!
