For your consideration,
I am offering three Beatles LP's; MEET THE BEATLES, RUBBER SOUL and ABBEY ROAD.
Meet the Beatles:
Capital #T-2047, February 1964 MONO. Original first issue Capitol royal blue Inner Sleeve that has seen better days. Rare West Coast Cover, RIAA 6. Does not have "Produced by George Martin" credit printed on the back-left cover. Second Label Variation. "ASCAP" after all songs except "BMI" next to I want to hold your hand. Matrix code is T-1- 2047 – G7. None on Side B.
Front Cover is VG, with only minor blemishes. Spine is not split and is still very readable. Back Cover is Good, with speckling, discoloration and rub-offs at the lower left. Both record sides have light to medium scratches. Some crinkling and a few pops. Very Good+ Condition.
Rubber Soul:
Capital Sleeve / Apple Label #ST-2442, 1969. Stereo. This is a cut-out (hole punched in upper right corner. RIAA 18. Faded plain inner sleeve. Matrix Codes ST-1-2442-G-22 with "Mastered by Capital" stamped and 2-2442-H-23 with a "5"stamped and off by itself.
Front Cover is VG with some minor flaws. Spine is unbroken and still readable but slightly worn. Back Cover is VG with some discoloration and disc wear-through. Side one is in VG+ condition with only a few scratches. Side two is in same shape except for one white blemish on side two – Don’t know what it is but it pops for 6 revolutions. I couldn’t remove it using micro-fiber cloth.
Abbey Road:
Apple #SO-383,1969. “B” in ink on front cover, upper right. “Caz” in ink on side 2 record label. Uncropped Front Cover (drain can be seen). Matrix codes are SO-1-383-B17 and SW2 383 B15 (no dashes). There is also an “O” (or a zero – not sure) stamped on both runouts and off by themselves. Third-party, clear hole, vinyl inner sleeve.
Front Cover is in VG condition. Spine has nearly split (more of a rub-out) for about 1 inch in the center. Readable text. Back Cover is in VG condition with only minor rubbing. Record is only Good+ Condition, with skips at the beginning on side 1 and minor pops and scratches on side 2. I did not try to clean either side with a wet cleanser. That could help.
Due to the varying quality, I decided to sell all 3 together.
Comes from a smoke-free and kid-free home.
