Description

This is a rare album of three ten inch, 78 rpm records, on the DECCA label, Album Set # A-697. This 1948 album is entitled "CHANSONS DES CAFES DE PARIS". These records are by the famous , French torch singer, EDITH PIAF. Here are the records included in this complete album set....

# 40051. "LES CLOCHES SONNENT", sung in French. Recorded in France. With Raymond LeGrand and His Orchestra.

Side B is "SI TU PARTAIS", sung in French.

# 40052. "LE GESTE", sung in French. Recorded in France. With Raymond LeGrand and His Orchestra.

Side B is "MOSIEUR ERNEST A REUSSI", sung in French.

# 40053. "MONSIEUR X", sung in French. Recorded in France. With Raymond LeGrand and His Orchestra.

Side B is "AMOUR DU MOIS DE MAI", sung in French.

This vintage album set is hard to find, especially complete and in this condition. All three records are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, shiny and clean. The album cover is in Very Good condition. The inside front cover has a few paragraphs about Edith and her history. Also some notes on the songs.

This great album would make a great addition to your collection or jukebox.
