Description
I'm selling a lot of three Train/Railroad Lp's together.
1."Whistles West" A Pageant of Western Steam Locomotives in Sound w/Booklet 1958.
Lp is V+ condition with only a few light scratches. Plays very well.
Cover is excellent with not much wear at all. Bottom right corner has 1/4" seam split. Back cover is plain white. It has yellowed through time.
Booklet is in good condition with lots of handling wrinkles.
2. "Sound of Steam Railroading" 1957
Lp is in excellent condition two scratches on side B that make periodic pops. There so inconsistent it might just be the vinyl. There is also a bubble in the vinyl on side B from something during the pressing. You can here a bump for about a minute at the very beginning before trains start. The rest of the vinyl is very clean and shinny closer to M-.
The cover doesn't have much wear but has tape all around the sides and a 2" seam split in the middle side. All of this can be seen in the photos.
3." Sound Effects Vol.2" Sound of Railroad Nostalgia 1972
Lp is Stereo/Quadraphoni looks un-played with no marks.
Cover is M-, still in shrink with perfect corners.
The first two Lp's are from the late 50's and may have some cracks or pops and surface noise. All indicative of lesser known company's pressings back then.
