Very nice little trio of Stiff Records 7" releases up for auction here, all classic 2Tone ska from Madness.
Stiff BUY56: One Step Beyond b w/ Mistakes on a 1979 UK pressing. Vinyl is VERY GOOD+, with lots of gloss and just some slight marks, but too many to grade it higher. Labels are NEAR MINT-, with just two barely visible spots of wear on the b-side.
Stiff BUY 56/SQRS 2894-M/SQRS 2895-M: One Step Beyond b w/ Mistakes on a 1979 Spanish pressing. Vinyl is NEAR MINT-, bright and shiny like new, and with just a single spot towards the end of the a-side, which does not affect how the single plays. Labels are MINT and the picture sleeve is EXCELLENT, with some minor spots of wear and slight ringwear on the rear.
Stiff BUY 71: "Work Rest & Play EP" w/ "Night Boat To Cairo" and "Deceives The Eye" on the a-side, and "The Young And The Old" and "Don't Quote Me On That" on the b-side. Vinyl and labels are NEAR MINT, flawless in a word. They look like they were pressed this year. The picture sleeve is EXCELLENT+, with just a few spots of wear on the outer edges and some very slight ringwear.
