Up for grabs are four of the most underrated albums in the NWOBHM genre by one of the best unsung bands of the time from the UK, Mamas Boys. The LP's are as follows:
Plug It In Turn It Up Power and Passion Growing Up The hard Way (White label copy)
I used to work in the record industry and that is how I got hold of the white label copy of the "Growing Up The Hard Way" LP. It was given me by the record rep' of the label. I saw these with Hawkwind first and then Thin Lizzy, twice, as well as on their own a good few times. Miss their great energetic shows and amazing playing.
All the records are near mint vinyl with no scratches or marks and the covers inside and out are near as damn it immaculate. To actually get hold of a white label pressing of any band is rare enough but of this great band is even rarer. It breaks my heart to see these go but I need to shift them as I am in the process of moving in the next few months so the final records I still own must now be cleared. That doesn't mean you can offer me a stupidly ridiculous low price though as I won't accept it so just be reasonable if you want to actually make an offer instead of bidding. You are getting a slab of British Heavy Metal history here all bought on the day of release except one, or just before as in the white label pressings case.
For those into this sort of thing, the 'Matrix' on the White Label is A1/B1. Something of a real rarity I do believe.
