After taking a year off from Ebay, I am returning to sell some items now that I have the time to devote that my customers deserve.

You are bidding on 3 very rare heavy vinyl records, RCA Victor pre-release promo, test, 78 RPM samples by latin TANGO composer and bandleader JOSE BOHR [1901-1994]. Jose Bohr composed over 250 songs, many of these songs performed with his own latin orchestras. Jose was well known in South America, Mexico, and the United States also for his movie involvement by way of writing, directing and starring in countless movies in the 20's 30's and 40's. This is where these songs appear in one of the first Hollywood Spanish speaking talkies films Jose Bohr, wrote, composed the music for and starred, "Hollywood, ciudad de ensueno". His wife and partner Eva Bohr is co-writer on these songs. She was also talented in latin music and directed movies,[Eva Lininana]. Jose has a piano playing on these records, but both Jose and Eva were musically gifted. These have a recording date of August 18, 1931. Session seems to have recorded four songs. I have 3 of them, one sided disks. Test recordings. I have tried to find any evidence that these were ever issued as 2-sided regular copies but have not seen any on the internet. These may be, and are to me, unique. I would like to note, if you use the magnify feature on the records, the only way to get the information off the labels, someone used a graphite pencil to brush up a latent image with the recording information. It would seem there were temporary labels over the white labels. The information was written by hand.

The song, "Alice" from the movie "Hollywood, ciudad de ensueno" is also known as "Alice, I love you TANGO"
