16 inch Red Vinyl Radio Transcription Discs Program numbers 143 144 145 146 149 150 with KOIL stamp and 1949 playdate on label.
In 1943 Foy Willing formed the Riders of the Purple Sage. The group appeared on the Hollywood Barn Dance, recorded for the Columbia, Decca, and Majestic record labels and backed numerous western performers on radio and film. These transcriptions contains 15 minute syndicated programs from 1949. These discs have great underlying sound, but some sides are noisy due to scuffs and scratches,
