*** Side 1 , the "R" is not present ***
The glossy vinyl is VG+ , with a sleeve hairlines and one small mark that make minor sounds in quiet passages . The mark does make a dull thump , not a tick , for 15 revoutions . The music is loud , like most early Blue Notes , so this does not affect the enjoyment of the music . A few spindle marks are visible . (Play graded on a Sota Sapphire turntable with a Dynavector cartridge .)
The glossy laminated cover is VG++ , very nice !. The cover has a minor corner wear and only a hint of soiling on the back . Also, there is a small bit of laminate lifting on the open end & two letters written in ink in the upper left corner of the back . Back cover has the West 63rd address . No splits . The spine is wonderful .

NEAR MINT ---Vinyl has almost no signs of wear . The record has been played but well cared for . The cover has no seam splits, cut-out holes or writing .
VERY GOOD + --- The vinyl may show some signs of wear like having sleeve scuffs , light scratches / marks . The cover will also show some signs of wear or might have a cut-out hole or small writing in ink . Still a fairly clean and acceptable copy !
VERY GOOD --- The vinyl has wear including loss of gloss , deep scratches . Noise is prominent . The cover wear includes severe ring wear , seam splits , stickers or tape .
GOOD --- Severe wear across the vinyl , but still plays through . The cover is very worn with issues like large splits , tape holding it together , extreme ring wear ,etc. .
