Description

I am liquidating a record collection that has been amassed over the past 70 years. You are bidding on a rare record by the great 3 Sounds called Moods on Blue Note Records, 4044, 47 West 63rd address on both sides, RVG on both sides and Blue Note swiggle in dead wax on both sides. Sight-graded under a full-spectrum light, the record rate as VG+ with a few very light flaws as well as a long mark that cannot be felt with the finger. The cover overall rates a VG++ with no flaws except a very small stamp of a previous owner (Robert Gill) on the upper back cover and the time (4:42) written next to "Loose Walk." (see photo) There is also a tiny piece of paper missing from side 1 on the label (see photo) and the time of the song "Sandu" written in pen (very tastefully) on side two.  You won't find many of these records. This is an excellent copy of this record by one of the greats.
