Here is a set of 3 used but not abused vintage LPs from Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band.
BLUE COLLAR (MCA Records MCA 3034)
The LP is from 1978. It is the soundtrack LP to the movie "Blue Collar" with music composed by Jack Nitzsche. Captain Beefheart sings the title track. The disc is in very good condition. It has some dust and a few scritches but nothing close to serious. Cover sleeve is also in very good condition with some minor shelfwear, ringwear and edgewear. Plus there is a cutout hole.LIVE AT THE ROXY JULY 16, 1975 (What's All This Booga Booga Muisc?) Wizardo Records Bootleg This LP says it's recorded in 1975 but I've seen other sources that state it was recorded in 1973. I'm no expert. Supposedly it's rare but again, I don't know about that stuff. All I know is that it's a live boot with some very cool paint splatter effect colored vinyl. The disc seems to be in very good condition but it's hard to tell for sure on the colored vinyl. The cover is a generic white one and the inner sheet with is still in there. It's in fine shape except for the "Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band" that I wrote on it back in high school so many years ago. Also some kid (yes me again some 35 years ago) has written a bit on the inner sheet.
IN A DIFFERENT CLIMATE - MALLARD (Virgin Records PZ 34489) This album is from 1977. It's a PROMO copy. This is the second LP from the post Beefheart Magic Band. I haven't listened to this in decades but as I recall, my impression was that it was a pretty good album for the time by a band that sounded good except for an annoyingly bad singer. I also recall that I really liked the track "Your Face On Someone Else" (except for that singer as I mentioned). The disc shows some minor dust and a couple of scritches but nothing terribly frightening. The cover is in good condition with some shelfwear, a bit of ringwear and a "Demonstration Not For Sale" stamp on the back.
