1: JETHRO TULL - AQUALUNG

Acclaimed and best selling 4th album originally released in 1971 this is a Chrysalis Records blue and white label later reissue in a gatefold sleeve.

Side A: aqualung / cross eyed Mary / cheap day return / mother goose / wond’ring aloud / up to me

Side B: my god / hymn 43 / slipstream / locomotive breath / wind up

Chrysalis Records CHR 1044 Stereo

Matrix A: CHR 1044 A // 5 ^ E 420 1 2 RC Etched run off.

Matrix B: CHR 1044 B // 4 ^ E 420 1 4

Vinyl visually is in stunning condition with nice sheen however through playback has a light warp. This doesn’t detract from any playback and plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and excellent audio and production on this critically acclaimed 4th studio album. Minimal wear under the lamp if any maybe a couple of faint hairlines but visually in fantastic condition. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and no spindle wear to the centres. Plain white inner sleeve. Outer gatefold sleeve is lightly textured and has no splits, stickers or writing and a readable medium spine with light wear to it. Again in very well looked after condition with some light storage wear to the rear sleeve.

General U.K. record collector grading of..

Vinyl: Visually EX + however downgraded to VG / VG + for light warp. Audio remains excellent throughout.

12th studio album released on Chrysalis Records in 1979.

Matrix A: Corrected CDL 1238 A // 2 ^ E 1 2

Vinyl visually is in lovely condition and still retains a nice sheen. There is a very light warp to this one however fully play tested plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and excellent audio and production throughout. Inspected under the lamp there is minimal wear if any maybe a couple of very light marks visually very well looked after. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and no spindle wear to the centres. Plain white poly lined inner sleeve. Outer glossy sleeve has no splits, stickers or writing and a readable thin spine. Some minimal storage wear overall again in nice well looked after condition.

Vinyl visually is in very nice condition however is downgraded accordingly for a light to medium warp. This doesn’t detract from any playback and it plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and excellent audio and production. Couple of very faint marks under the lamp but really in well looked after visual condition. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and no spindle wear to the centres. Plain white inner sleeve. Outer glossy sleeve has no splits, stickers or writing and a readable thin spine. Home taping is killing music logo to rear of sleeve. Some very light wear and a couple of thin surface creases otherwise in nice original condition.

All records are fully and properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is also inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. Any flaws will be highlighted in the description hence the instructions to read the descriptions carefully.. I use the standard U.K. record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless it’s bought new by myself and still sealed. Even then an M graded record is extremely rare in anyone’s grading system.

Vinyl is graded first then labels, outer / inner sleeves, posters inserts etc. Vinyl is always separated from sleeve in transit. Record will come in a PVC protective sleeve with a new anti static inner sleeve when the inner is printed or a new one is required. Posted with new record stiffeners in sturdy vinyl mailer. Vinyl is ALWAYS posted signed for, insured with proof of postage also retained. Any international postage is also ALWAYS signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined, up to three thin spine or two wide spine per mailer. Spine size is generally stated in my listings to give buyers an idea of potential postage combining. I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine postage please just drop me a mail stating your intentions thank you..
