DESCRIPTION: Bad Company- 1st self titled LP.  £12.99. Early UK press with machine stamped A2U/B1 matrix, gatefold sleeve and Red Island labels. Please note all postage costs include tracking and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS- 9279. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1974. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX. Vinyl is clean with a nice dark sheen. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Plays EX. Music is clean, clear, loud and powerful.  Cover is also in very clean condition, better than EX. It is firm and square with minimal edge wear, less than light corner-wear and negligible creasing.  Excellent shape retained to fully legible spine. Printed  inner is much better than is usually seen. Clean and white with minimal wear, no feathering to opening edge and no splits.  Has "JD" printed to one side of otherwise really clean labels- check out the photos. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.

Please note all postage costs include full insurance, tracking and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS- 9120. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen. It has 2 x 1cm surface lines on Side 2 preventing visual EX grade.  Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Plays EX or very near. Music is clean, clear, loud and powerful. Just an occasional tick in some of the quietest passages including a repetive tick for around a minute in ""Dont Say You Love Me". Cover is also in very clean condition, much better than is usually seen. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light wear and light creasing.  No ring-wear.  Only light wear to fully legible spine.  Correct white inner is clean with light wear, fully attached poly, no feathering and 2 x 1" tears around centre-hole.  Really clean rough textured labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Good looking and fantastic sounding Free LP.

It has a couple of very faint light hairlines that I dont think prevents visual EX grade. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck.  Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays EX, Music is clear, clean and loud with just an occasional soft distant tick. Cover is in fantastic condition, close to "as new".  It is firm and square with negligible edge wear, minimal corner wear and negligible creasing. Printed inner is Ex with a little less than light wear and no splits. Really  clean labels- check out the photo. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.

I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
