Description
All three UK albums have the Reprise mustard and 'steamboat' labels.
Reprise K44103 'Then Play On', a 1970's single sleeve reissue of the 1969 gatefold original. The glossy sleeve is strong and intact with some minor wear and rubbing at the spine. The flat and shiny vinyl weighs 131g on my scale and has the matrices K44103 A and K44103 B on the dead wax. I can't see any signs of much or any play at all at the label centre holes. In room light the disc looks great; under the evil table lamp I see some light scuffs and hairlines which I reckon are down to sleeve 'storage' over the years notwithstanding the fact the vinyl lives in a poly-lined inner sleeve. EXC+ or 9/10 condition for the record.
Reprise K54001 'Kiln House', a 1970's single sleeve reissue of the 1970 gatefold original. No insert. The strong sleeve is in great condition with no blemishes to report and feels clean and fresh to the touch. At 112g the flat and shiny disc shows signs of little or no play and is virtually identical in condition to that described above. Has A2 / B1 matrices. EXC+ or 9/10 condition for the record.
1972 Reprise K44181 'Bare Trees' and is probably a first or early pressing with a plain 'A' & B1 matrices. The single sleeve is strong and intact yet has some age browning / foxing blemishes plus is creased near the mouth. The record is once again flat and shiny and at 138g is the heaviest of the three. At the labels I see evidence of a single play, maybe two at most but is in nice shape. EXC or 8/10 condition for the record.
