Description
A nice collection of 3 Isaac Hayes lps, all 3 of them being double albums.
They are Black Moses and Shaft, both on the Stax label and A Man And A Woman from Isaac Hayes and Dionne Warwick.
Black Moses is the original 1972 Stax double album release, catalogue number 2628 004 on the cover, 2369-003 (Set No. 2628-004) on the labels.
Matrix numbers 2369003 A//2, B//1 (record 1), A//1, B//1 (record 2).
The records are in nice, clean condition and would be a strong Very Good + grade as per the Record Collector grading system.
The records come in the fold out cruciate cover and that's in good condition with the exception of the front top right of the cover where there are marks and slight damage from label removal. This should be visible in one or two of my photos.
The next double album is the Soundtrack From The MGM Film Shaft, released by Stax in 1971, catalogue number 2659 007 on the cover, 2369-001 (Set No. 2659-007) on the labels.
Matrix numbers 2369001 A//1, B//1 (record 1), A//1, B//1 (record 2).
Both records are in as similarly clean condition as with the Black Moses album and the gatefold sleeve cover is in very good condition.
The third double album is A Man And A Woman from Isaac Hayes and Dionne Warwick, released on the ABC Records label in 1977, catalogue number ABCD 613.
The records are again in the same clean and very good condition.
Matrix numbers ABCD 613 A-1, B-2 (record 1) and C-1, D-2 (record 2).
The gatefold sleeve cover is overall in very good condition with some signs of age and wear.
All the records have inner sleeves though not necessarily the original ones.
