Description
1991 UK Epic 657 4406 12" 45rpm Picture Disc 'No More Tears (album version) / S.I.N. / Party With The Animals'. The outer pvc sleeve has a typical bottom seam split and the colour backing insert has some corner creases but overall nothing to fret over. At 145g the flat and shiny vinyl is of a nice weight and the centre hole is sharp looking so not sure what plays its had if any. Angling the disc under a bright light I see scuffs and light hairlines which I reckon is down to storage wear over the years. But note the disclaimer on the vinyl...'Sound quality of this picture disc may not be comparable to that of a conventional disc' which is why they are mainly collected for their art form to appreciate and / or display.
1980 US Jet 37640 12" 45rpm Picture Disc billed as a 'Collector's Edition All Live EP' with tracks 'Mr Crowley / You Said It All / Suicide Solution'. The die-cut sleeve is intact but with noticeable wear including paint loss, rubs and creasing. And the outer pvc sleeve is worse but it is the original so I've not replaced it. For the vinyl it's flat also with a nice lustre. At 178g it's a healthy weight and again is hard to tell if its seen much or any turntable action. But like the record before it shows scuffs and hairlines and again we have on the sleeve ...'Sound quality of this picture edition is not comparable to the conventional edition. Playing of this record will result in surface noise'. In other words, get the original issue to play and look at this one!
1988 Dreamland Records BB UK 12" 45rpm Picture Disc 'Lita Ford duet with Ozzy Osbourne' with tracks 'Close My Eyes Forever (remix) / Under The Gun / Blueberry'. Nice pictures. Just comes in the original pvc sleeve which has lost part of the top and is grubby but otherwise ok! The disc at 176g shows a slight touch of 'dishing' but nothing to worry about. And angling it under a bright light it looks pretty decent by way of condition.
So, for this lot we again start at 99p and the auction will run its' course as always.
