The Beatles "White Album" 1st UK Press Mono Vinyl Double LP
Description:
A complete set of The Beatles ”The Beatles” (The White Album) in all its original mono glory, housed in a incredibly low numbered and very collectable 1st press top-loading sleeve with all original parts including rare spacer. This set is a real treasure for collectors.
Key Features:
- Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 709-1; Side 2: XEX 710-1; Side 3: XEX 711-1; Side 4: XEX 712-1. (-1 matrix endings on all sides) (1st Press Identifier)
- Labels: The labels are printed with a dark green and “Sold In U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists” text is printed at the top. and feature the in error of omitting the text 'An E.M.I. Recording' on the label that was swiftly corrected. Have the credits "Production by GEORGE MARTIN" and "Orchestrations by GEORGE MARTIN" below the group's name.
- Sleeve: The stamped seven-digit number appears in grey on a slight downward angle towards the lower right corner. Later issues went down to a six-digit format.
- Low Number: Highly collectable low numbered 3,181 sleeve makes this a sought-after collectors item.
- Stampers: Low mother & stampers 3/3LR, 3TG, 1R, 2R
- Extras: Foldout poster, 4 portrait photos w/spacer sheet, 2 black die-cut paper inners - All are original and comprise a complete set with no missing parts including rare spacer sheet placed on top of the phots to protect the photo on top and so often discarded.

Disc One: VERY GOOD PLUS!
The record exhibits a glossy and clean appearance in good natural light with occasional light surface marks. When scrutinised under focused spotlight thin surface marks are visible. No feelable makes whatsoever.

Audio Grade:
Disc One: EXCELLENT!
The record begins with light static, occasionally subtle pops and crackles can be heard. No obtrusive repeat clicks or skips/sticks. A fantastic mono listening experience with great channel separation, crisp vocals and punchy bass.
Disc Two: EXCELLENT!
Minimal static during the lead-ins and in occasional quiet patches with no clicks, stick/skips or defect make this a superb listen.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD PLUS!
The sleeve has a remarkably low serial number and the front, back and insides retain their original glossy sheen with no sign of ring wear. The spine shows an area of wear to the edge and the usual yellowing. The edges are sharp and unworn. Overall it is a fantastic example made even more impactful by the very low 4 digit sleeve number.
Inners: EXCELLENT!
