Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by Florida group the 31st of February, released in 1968. The group was short-lived, but besides this LP, they backed Duane and Gregg Allman on some 1968 recordings, which saw release on the small Bold label in the early '70s, and drummer Butch Trucks subsequently joined the newly formed Allman Brothers Band. Their own LP is mostly in a pop-psych vein, though they do veer towards rock on a couple of extended tracks, one of them a spacey cover of Buffy Sainte-Marie's "Cod'ine." The jacket has some rippling in the front cover slick along the top and bottom seams (see photo for a sample), and light ring, corner, spine, and seam wear -- EX(+). The disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with a little light surface noise on side 2 (side 1 plays M-) -- EX+. The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
