Description

Beautifully illustrated box set of Ludwig Van Beethovens 5 Piano Concertos.  Box contains 5 33 RPM records one  for each of the piano concertos.  The music is presented by the Vienna Orchestra, conducted by Wilfried Boettcher and the Pianist is Alfred Brendel.  The box also contains a biography of the Pianist, and a discussion of Beethovens  life.  The collections looks old, but I don't think the recording have ever been played, they are in pristine condition no  blemishes of any kind.  They have been well cared for throughout the years.   The composer is certainly renowned and one of the best in history.  The pianist has a wonderful reputation and much experience performing.  The  orchestra is also renowned for the quality of its performance.  Also vinyl records give a clear and enjoyable sound. These parts all add up to a wonderful listening experience.  I love Beethovens works, he is one of my very favorites
