33 rpm: Dracula, Haunter of the Dark, Tales of Terror

This item is one of four in my store listed in eBay under both Music>Records and Books>Audiobooks. These items, however, are not books and only contain incidental music, in some cases. They are 33-rpm records containing English talk in various formats. They are under the store heading: 33s: talk, instmntl, sndtrck. There is no equivalent category in eBay listings.

Orson Welles starring in Dracula -- Recording of an original radio broadcast interpreting the famous Bram Stoker novel. Best listened to at night with the lights low. The haunted house picture illustrating this listing vaguely resembles the album cover, but seller has no photo of the actual album, which is in very good to excellent condition, with just a slight amount of circular wear at the top front. The 33-rpm Mark 56 record comes in an inner sleeve and is in excellent condition, unblemished and still-shiny, although it could use a normal dust-cleaning.

The Haunter of the Dark -- David McCallum reads the H.P. Lovecraft novel of supernatural terror on a stereo Caedmon record in excellent condition. The record has no scuffs or scratches and is still shiny, but it needs cleaning from dust and fingerprints left over the years. The record comes in an inner paper sleeve and an album cover in like-new condition, still with shrink wrap. Sorry, I do not have a photo.

Tales of Terror -- Narrated by Nelson Olmsted. Two stereo Vanguard 33-rpm records come in separate paper sleeves and a fold-open album cover in slightly better condition than the one in the stock photo illustrating this listing. The records are in very good condition with just a few superficial scratches and scuffs appearing on close examination. They play with a small amount of static. This situation could probably be improved with a cleaning. Record One has six Edgar Allan Poe stories: The Pit and the Pendulum, A Cask of Amontillado, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Tell-tale Heart, The Masque of the Red Death and The Strange Case of M. Valdemar. Record Two has these tales: The Signal Man, Charles Dickens; The Mummy's Foot, Theophile Gautier; Markheim, Robert Louis Stevenson; An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, Ambrose Bierce; What Was It?, Fitz-James O'Brien and The Body Snatcher, Robert Louis Stevenson.
