Description

UK Columbia 33CXS1274 and 33CX1275. BRUCKNER: Symphony No. 4 in E flat "Romantic". Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Lovro von Matacic. The extremely rare original 3-sided first issue (record 1 is a single-sided disc), in absolutely wonderful condition, with the original Columbia blue and gold labels. Each record has a small sticker "Factory Sample – Not for Sale" which suggests that this may have been a review set. The condition of the discs and sleeves is wonderful, with no signs of wear at all - these records appear from a visual inspection to be completely unplayed. The sleeves, too, are in magnificent condition with no blemishes of any kind. A really desirable set. The horn solo at the opening of this superb performance was played by Dennis Brain. Please note that I accept Paypal payments ONLY. All my LPs are shipped in extra-stiffened LP mailers, with the record removed from the sleeve.
