The box is in excellent condition and comes with its original cardboard inners and tissue
separators. The cast list is in excellent condition.
This set DID NOT come with a libretto. This had to be purchased separately.
And here we have the rare separate libretto that cost 4/6d ( 22 1/2p ) back in 1958
when this 3 lp box set was issued.
Of course this is the only released recording as NO STEREO was ever issued.
The discs still retain their original sheen with NO scratches NO hairlines No skips NO repeats
and barely any sound from any dust in the grooves. These records are 57 years old and are
in remarkable condition.
As always I play the records in their entirety and NOT guess as to how they sound.
Nm, by this I mean they will play noiselessly with no pops crackles tics etc etc
Records described as ex+ will have absolutely minimal background noise
Records described as ex will have minimal background noise AND no serious problems
like repetitive tics.
Assume that the disc will have minor sleeve withdrawal marks. These will ONLY be mentioned if they<
affect playback.
