THE PERFORMERS IN THIS OPERA RECORDING HAVE SIGNED THE FRONT BOARD INCLUDING:
Leontyne Price Richard Tucker Rosalind Elias Philip Maero Erich Leinsdorf
THE SIGNATURES HAVE NOT BEEN AUTHENTICATED BUT ARE VERY CONSISTENT WITH OTHERS FOUND ONLINE. Given the estate it was found in, I have no reason to doubt that the signatures are authentic hand-signed by the individuals.
There is some wear on the box spine where the top and bottom are attached, with some tearing on the paper attaching the two. This is the key wear issue to the box - the corners have light wear, the brown color and the signatures are very clear in good condition. Inside the box is a 1907 G. Ricordi & Co libretto. It is solidly bound, clean with no markings, 64 pages. There is the booklet associated with the LP box set. There is a bit of corner scrunching upper right hand corner, otherwise the booklet is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with no markings. There is a separate Madame Butterfly textured print that is suitable for framing. The LPs are stored in original RCA plastic-lined inner sleeve, and LOOK GREAT WITH NO SCRATCHES SEEN ON CLEAN VINYL, will grade NM.
