Description
3 Beatles 1st press stereo records for sale. I group these together for convenience (and Rubber Soul has skips so does not merit listing on its own)
Abbey Road
1st press, 'Her Majesty' not mentioned on the side 2 label. Labels are Ex Vinyl appearance is VG: Some light scratches and surface appears marked in places Audio is VG. I have play tested this, there are no skips or jumps. Some clicks here and there. Overall sounds great. Cover is VG: Some ringwear, bumps to the corners, soft creases to the laminate, etc. White 'patented' inner sleeve is VG with some creases.
Sgt Pepper
1st press, yellow & black Parlophone labels Labels are VG Vinyl appearance is VG: Some light scratches and surface marks Matrices YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1 Audio is VG. Play tested, there are no skips or jumps. Some clicks here and there. Overall sounds great. Cover is VG: Some bumps to the corners, a bit grubby in a few places, etc. Cut-out insert is included in VG condition.
Rubber Soul
1st press, yellow & black Parlophone labels Labels are VG Matrices YEX 178-3 and YEX 179-3 Really early stampers so a very early pressing: Side 1 is '2P' and side 2 is '2T' Vinyl appearance is VG: Some scratches and surface marks Audio is G only - as the record skips once on 'Girl' and twice on 'I'm looking through you'. There are also some clicks / pops. Apart from these faults it's a very good listen. Cover is G - all flipbacks are stuck down but back is yellowed and someone has written their name and other writing to the rear. Corners are work, laminate shows creases. Inner sleeve is the correct EMITEX 'tracing paper' style, which is split at the bottom with creases and tears - so condition G only.
