Description

Four 10" 78rpm records dating from the late 1910s and 1920s featuring traditional Irish / Celtic dance music by Edward Herborn and James Wheeler, Matthew and Mary Haskins, Jim McGrath's Orchestra, Patrick Scanlon, Michael Redmond and Marty Perry, John Kimmel.

 Domino 0218 is electrically recorded, the rest are acoustically recorded. All records play cleanly.

Columbia A2147 - Edward Herborn and James Wheeler (Accordion and Banjo) - The Maid Behind The Bar (Irish Reel) / The Rambler's Jig. E-, very clean and shiny copy, a few small surface marks and minor play wear.

Columbia A2837 - Patrick J. Scanlon (Accordion) - Father O'Flynn and Haste To The Wedding (Irish Jigs) / Keel-Row and Money-Musk (Highland Flings).  E-, a few light surface marks and some play wear. 

Domino 0128 - Jim McGrath's Orchestra - Rights of Man / Matthew and Mary Haskins (acc. by Geoghegan's Irish Trio) - Maloney's Christening.  V+, light surface maks and a bit more play wear than the others.

Victor 18998 - Michael Redmond and Marty Perry (Violin and Accordion) - The Blackbird Reel / John J. Kimmel (Accordion) - Medley of Irish Reels No. 8 (Bonnie Kate, Swallows Tail, Star of Munster). Excellent condition, a very clean and shiny copy.
