2) RAINING IN MY HEART/IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE (Coral #62074 1st pressing, 1959); CLEAN M- 45 w/Coral company sleeve;
3) THAT'LL BE THE DAY/I'M LOOKIN' FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE/OH BOY!/NOT FADE AWAY (Brunswick #71036 "The Chirping Crickets" 1st pressing EP, 1957): VG/VG+ 45;
4) MAYBE BABY/TELL ME HOW/SEND ME SOME LOVIN'/ROCK ME MY BABY (Brunswick #71038 "Sound Of The Crickets" 1st pressing EP, 1958): CLEAN VG- 45.
This super lot starts with 2 highly desirable 1st pressings of Peggy Sue & Raining In My Heart with CLEAN LABELS & GLOSSY VINYL (correct Coral company sleeves included). This pair bookends Buddy Holly's tragically short recording career. Buddy & The Crickets' 1st hit Peggy Sue swept the country in early 1957 & Raining In My Heart/It Doesn't Matter Anymore was on the charts 2 years later when the plane with Buddy, Richie & J.P. aboard crashed in Iowa.
