Description
Up for sale here is my copy of the debut EP from the seminal York band Sema 4 on the Pollen label PBM 022 from 1979. If you're looking at this listing, you'll know how rare this record is. It's numbered 00496 out of 500. If I remember correctly, I sent off to the label and received it in the post after hearing it on John Peel back in 1979.
The vinyl still has a lovely sheen to it and is in very good condition with light scratches and surface noise in places, but nothing to my ears that detracts from the music.
The sleeve is in very good condition with light discolouration, creasing and a little label ring wear. The sleeve opening is frayed at the top - these sleeves were longer on the opening edge and this has suffered over the years. There are no splits. Please look at the photos.
The labels are very clean with a few spindle marks on side two.
The double folded insert is in excellent condition with just one staple mark in the top right corner. The insert was stapled to the plain white sleeve (included in the sale) when I received the record through the post. The staple is not included!
