Description
Mott the Hoople 4-LP vinyl box set "Complete Atlantic Studio Albums" released in 2014 by Rhino/Atlantic Records, catalog 0PLP-862.
This is an exclusive numbered box set, and this box has a very low number - it's No. 0002.
Mott's Atlantic albums from 1969-1972 are included in this box set: (1) Mott the Hoople (2) Wildlife (3) Mad Shadows (4) Brain Capers
All of the albums are pressed on 180 gram vinyl (housed in poly-lined inner sleeves) and replicate the original sleeve artwork (all of the album sleeves are gatefolds, except "Brain Capers"). Also included is a "mini poster" which is basically a 12x12 inch two-sided sheet that has the band picture from the box set cover on one side, and an essay about the box set on the flip side. Plus includes the hype sticker that was on the original shrink-wrap.
CONDITION:
The albums in this box set were only played once and then carefully stored away. The individual vinyl records and the record sleeves are in mint condition. The outer box set case has a small mark near the top (see picture) but is otherwise in very good condition.
