4 LP Boxset. Satchmo, A MUSICAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY of Louis Armstrong. The box is incribed to (ambassador) "Harry Barnes Jr. from Lucille Armstrong (Mrs. Satchmo)" Includes the booklet.

Harry George Barnes Jr.[1][2] (June 5, 1926 – August 9, 2012) (also known as the Black Falcon), born in St. Paul, Minnesota, was an American diplomat, a former Foreign Service Officer who served as US ambassador to Romania (March 14, 1974–November 10, 1977), India (November 17, 1981–June 27, 1985) and Chile (November 18, 1985–;November 26, 1988). Between December 22, 1977 and February 8, 1981 he served as Director General of the Foreign Service at the Department of State.

• CONDITION:
Visually Graded. Top of Box = VG with rubbing, detached at the hinge, one split corner. Bottom of Box = NM. Records = Side one is VG+. All others are NM. Inner Sleeves and Booklet = NM.

Condition grading is my opinion. I am not a self proclaimed record expert, and these have not been play tested, But I have handled and sold 100's of records over the last 30 years, and have graded rare books for 35 years. The records up for sale right now are among the best ones that I have had.

Mint = Not a single mark on it. Maybe just some dust.

NM = Looks like it has been played maybe a few times or maybe not at all. Handled very carefully. 9 to 9+/10

EX = Has minor signs of use. Handled carefully. 8-9 /10

VG+ = Obviously played. No visual damage or scratches that would affect play. Collectible condition. 7-8/10

VG = Some light scratches, wear etc. Still playable. Only here because or rarity/collectibility. 7/10

Condition grades for the cover and sleeves roughly follow the same 1-10 scale.

These have not been cleaned (too much controversy over the proper method). So, there could be some surface dust, and/or fingerprints.
