THIS LIMITED EDITION RELEASE!
When this came out on Capitol in 1955, it was a limited edition, numbered set, and the collectors raced out to get a copy. It has four LPs, and comes as a box set. These 4 LPs contain the very best of the Kenton tracks from the early '40s through the mid-50's. Maynard Ferguson is included on the tracks In Veradero (2/5/50), Amazonia (2/3/50), Salute, Coop's Solo, Ennui, and Samana (10/14/51), Swing House and You Go to My Head (9/15/52), Baa-Too-Kee (1/30/53), and Stella by Starlight (1/23/53).
