Description

This auction is for the Self-titled Vinyl LP: 4 On The Floor.  Released in 1979 on the Casablanca Records label (Catalogue Number: NBLP7180).  This gem of an album is famous for two things: Firstly the album stars the mighty Glenn Hughes (yes him of Deep Purple, Trapeze Fame etc, etc) on vocals (although un-credited), yes it is definitely him and Secondly for the 16-minute epic Glimmer Twins Medley were they combine the following four Rolling Stones classics; Let’s Spend The Night Together, Lady Jane, Paint It Black and Under My Thumb into one superb track (Got to be heard).  Please be aware this is not a Rock album, this is Disco, Funk at its best and Glenn sounds superb.  This original album has a ‘Not For Sale’ Promotional Stamp on the reverse and the whole package comes in excellent plus condition (the sleeve has become unglued for approximately 5-cms at the top of the sleeve. 

I am a private seller and therefore, all my albums come from a private collection and have been stored and looked after for many years in the appropriate conditions and manner.  Needs must and it is time to sell my beloved collection; many of these albums have hardly been played and come in at the very least an excellent plus condition; unless otherwise stated.
