Description
The first is a custom label one-sided NBC Orthacoustic 33 rpm pressing, with matrix nos. on label and in lost wax, (plus E). Looks like 11 or 12 short radio station announcements. I listened to the first, and he leaves out the call letters so that any station could use it. Basically promoting hios radio shows, it sounds like. Made by RCA. Disc has a good number of scuff marks, and one or two short scratches, surface noise likely, but pretty unique.
Second disc is a two-sided 78 with what is called "Official Victory Loan Song for Intermission and Lobby Use." RR 12448 stamped in lost wax. Mfg. by Allied, Hollywood. Slightly flexible vinyl, very clean on both sides, no issues.
Third is two songs from the Paramount picture "The Emperor Waltz", with "Friendly Mountains" on one side, and "The Kiss in your Eyes" on the other. Lateral cut 78, with WMVA Recording Library sticker on one label. Slightly flexible vinyl, some scuff marks on both sides and one or two short scratch marks that will probably "tick" but overall pretty good condition.
Last is a wide groove microgroove 33 that is one-sided, about 7-8 minutes long. To a background of music, Bing talks about St. Francis High School in La Canada, and appeals for funds for a gymnasium for them, no doubt as a favor to someone. One sided with plain label and strangely spaced grooves on the flip side. Scuffed surface, and surface noise, needs to be cleaned, but nice quality recording.
