Description

Description: This tape is an abbreviated version of a longer alignment tape. It had to be some sort of promotional item. In the fine print on the box rear it states, "This offer is necessarily subject to cancellation or change without notice." This tape appears to be from the 1960s. The tape is on a 4 inch diameter reel.

Reel Condition: I have 100 percent play tested (not spot tested) this tape. There are no splices or dropouts. There are some clicks here and there but they won't affect the adjustment process. The reel is very nice, quite clean. The label is also very nice.
Box Condition: Box outside is decent. The front artwork is a 7.0, with areas of wear, but still very legible. The rear is a 7.0 also with very legible text. This box style is not the usual reel to reel type with a hinge, instead it has flaps at the top and bottom. Instructions: There are very detailed instructions on both sides of the instruction sheet. I have scanned only one side. One end of the insert has been torn so that 2-3 lines of text are missing on one side. The opposite side that is missing only removed the top portion of a photo, so no info is missing on that side. This insert needs ironing because it is wrinkled but I don't do ironing (well, only my clothes if my wife says I have to).Leader: Leader tape (3M timing) added at both ends. No reversing foil on this one.
Packaging: The leader end is secured in the reel with soft foam to keep the tape from unwinding during storage and shipment.
